MATIANDESIGN was created during a deeply emotional moment in our family’s life. We lost our beloved cat, SIMBA, a small but incredibly loving soul who was with us for only a short time. His loss was a painful and unexpected blow, and our home felt different without him.

Working on this project became a way to heal a way to channel love, tenderness, and memory into something beautiful. Every soft texture, every gentle design, and every detail remind me of that little being who brought so much warmth into our lives.

SIMBA is the heart behind our logo. The cat silhouette represents him: a tribute to the love he gave us, the comfort he brought, and the mark he left on our hearts.

 What started as a simple idea—to create products that feel warm, comforting, and meaningful—grew into a brand dedicated to celebrating family, imagination, quality and comfort for everyday life.

MATIANDESIGN was born from that feeling: the desire to create something tender, comforting, and meaningful. Every plushie, pajama set, and handmade detail is designed with intention. We create pieces that feel like home: gentle, cozy, and full of heart. MATIANDESIGN is where minimal design meets emotional connection. Something that carries love in every piece.

I’m Vanessa, the creator of MATIANDESIGN and a mom of three boys who inspire every collection. Between family life, work, and creativity, I learned that the most meaningful products are the ones that bring calm, joy, and closeness.

MATIANDESIGN is my way of sharing that feeling with other families—through pieces made with care, softness, and quality.

MATIANDESIGN nació en un momento profundamente emocional para nuestra familia. Perdimos a nuestro querido gato, SIMBA, un ser pequeño pero increíblemente amoroso que estuvo con nosotros solo por un corto tiempo. Su partida fue un golpe doloroso e inesperado, y nuestro hogar no volvió a sentirse igual sin él.

Trabajar en este proyecto se convirtió en una forma de sanar, una manera de canalizar amor, ternura y recuerdos hacia algo hermoso. Cada textura suave, cada diseño delicado y cada detalle me recuerdan a ese pequeño ser que llenó nuestras vidas de tanta calidez.

SIMBA es el corazón detrás de nuestro logo. La silueta del gato lo representa: un tributo al amor que nos dio, al consuelo que nos brindó y a la huella que dejó en nuestros corazones.

Lo que comenzó como una idea sencilla —crear productos que transmitieran calidez, comodidad y significado— creció hasta convertirse en una marca dedicada a celebrar la familia, la imaginación, la calidad y la comodidad para la vida diaria.

MATIANDESIGN nació de ese sentimiento: el deseo de crear algo tierno, reconfortante y significativo. Cada peluche, pijama y detalle hecho a mano está diseñado con intención. Creamos piezas que se sienten como en casa: suaves, acogedoras y llenas de corazón. MATIANDESIGN es donde el diseño minimalista se encuentra con la conexión emocional. Algo que lleva amor en cada pieza.

Soy Vanessa, la creadora de MATIANDESIGN y mamá de tres niños que inspiran cada colección. Entre la vida familiar, el trabajo y la creatividad, aprendí que los productos más significativos son aquellos que brindan calma, alegría y cercanía.

MATIANDESIGN es mi manera de compartir ese sentimiento con otras familias: a través de piezas hechas con cuidado, suavidad y calidad.
